EI-Sharqeya Sewage Treatment Plants

Between years (1992 -1998), with a total cost of L.E.
70 million, four wastewater treatment plants, each of
20,000 mV day capacity, were constructed in AlSharqeya governorate. Prof. Dr. Sameh Abd ElGawad work included the design and preparation of
all working drawings and tender documents of all the
four plants.
El-Sheikh Zaied water Plant
Country: Egypt
With a budget of L.E. 200 million, the water
treatment plant of El-Sheikh Zaied city was
constructed in the years (1998-2001). Prof.
Dr. Sameh Abd El-Gawad work included
design and preparation of workshop drawings
of all pipelines, valves, joints and inter -
connections.
El-Baraka Water Plant, Smart village
Country: Egypt
Prof. Dr. Sameh Abd El-Gawad designed the
water plant which is Located in the smart
village, Cairo Alexandria highway, of a total
cost L.E. 14 million. His work included
Workshop drawings and site supervision for
El-Baraka transmission line, groundwater
wells and pumping station
General Authority of Investment Building Show land
Country: Egypt
Prof. Dr. Sameh Abd El-Gawad scope of work included
design, workshop drawings, and site supervision, for
HVAC, firefighting, electrical network, plumbing
networks. That was in year (2002 - 2004) for the new
head quarter and exhibition hall for the General
Authority of Investment, Located at Salah Salem St.
Cairo, with a total cost L.E. 10 million for the electro
mechanical works.
Laguna Vista Resort Sharm El-Sheikh

With a total cost of 15 million Egyptian pounds, the
infrastructure and electromechanical systems of the
Laguna Vista resort were designed and implemented in
site by Prof. Dr. Sameh Abd El-Gawad, in the years
(2001 2002).
Our scope of work included Preparing workshop
drawings for water, wastewater, firefighting, electrical,
light current, and networks also preparing tender
document for plumbing works, internal lighting, HVAC
works, wastewater treatment, swimming pools together
with site supervision
Makady Bay Meridian
Country: Egypt
The meridian Makady Bay is one of the biggest resorts
on the red sea shore, of a total cost of 450 million
Egyptian pounds, it shelters a 5 stars hotel, chalets,
villas and shopping center, recreational facilities and
distinct landscape. Consultant Eng. Ahmad Abbas
scope of work included design of the desalination plant
of the resort together with the infrastructure. It also
included the preparation of working and shop drawings
with site supervision of the constructions
Yanbou Desalination Plant
Country: Saudi Arabia
K.S.A aimed the construction of a main desalination plant
to provide Yanbou city with potable water. The plant
sheltered, together with the desalination facility, the
electrical equipment building, control operation &
maintenance building & chemical treatment building, and it
works with a capacity of 2500 midday. The total cost of the
plant reached 10 million American Dollars. Consultant Eng.
Ahmad Abbas scope of work included the design &
preparation of workshop drawings.
Nabq Touristy Resort
Country: Egypt
the village sheltered 3 hotels
each 5 stars, of max. Capacity 800 rooms, 3
main swimming pools & 3 other small ones,
artificial lake, employees housing & diving
center, night club, services plant. Consultant
Eng. Ahmad Abbas scope of work in 1998
included design & supervision of all
electromechanical works including: sanitary
works, firefighting system, plumbing & air
conditioning for all buildings & swimming
pools.
Islamic University Niger
Country: Niger
Funded by the Islamic Development Bank, the new girls'
campus of the Islamic University of Niger was established in
the year 2002. The new campus sheltered administrative
building, four students housing buildings, library, restaurant,
four colleges, one institute, two staff housing buildings & 7
Villas for higher, mosque, service building and a desalination
Plant to provide potable water. Consultant Eng. Ahmad Abbas
scope of work included design and preparation of working
drawings for infrastructure systems, HVAC plumbing, electrical
network, firefighting, irrigation and the desalination plant.
Juhayna Industrial Compound

underground garages. Prof. Dr. Shaker El-Marqaby
scope of work included engineering and detailed design
of plumbing and firefighting system, HVAC system,
electric power supply, lighting and light current systems
together with the supervision of installation and quality
control for the electromechanical works including the
interactive multimedia system.

shopping mall. Prof. Dr. Shaker El-Marqaby scope of work
included design and site supervision of the implementation
of electromechanical systems except escalators and
elevators.
Cairo Meridian

Five star Hotel complex (870 Room) as an extension to the
existing Hayaat (Meridian) hotel. Prof. Dr. Shaker ElMarqaby scope of work included engineering and detailed
design of plumbing and firefighting system, HVAC
system, electric power supply, lighting and light current
systems; it also included revising Shop drawings and
submittals.
American University in Cairo

A new Campus for the American University is built
on a land lot of 1000 000 m2... Prof. Dr. Shaker ElMarqaby scope of work included engineering and
detailed design for electro mechanical service
(HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, lighting and small
power, and light current systems) for the campus
buildings.
El-Nakheil Mall Hurghada

The project is located on a land lot of 1200m2 area & total
construction area 4600m2. The building consists of basement,
ground floor and other floors. The basement encloses six storage
areas, the ground floor shelters number of stores, while each of the
other floors contains eight residential apartments. Consultant Eng.
Omar Abd Al-Monem scope of work included engineering and
detailed design for electrical networks and connections, together
with the supervision of its implementation in site.. The structural
design was made by Dr. Nasser El-Shafey
